All steps for creating and publishing a project

In a few steps, is how to create a project from A to Z, sending media to the creation of sequences through the final stage of publication.
One of the principles of creation under 3WDOC is often what we call the principle of “Russian dolls”: media are included in the tracks, the tracks are included in the sequences, the sequences are included in a project.

o we will see step by step how to create, edit and publish a project. The first steps with this new version of 3WDOC.

1 – Send your media:

In the main navigation or in the “header”, you go to tab MEDIA, by clicking on this button Upload file (s), you will be able simultaneously send the following media: photos, videos, audios. Our platform is then responsible to encode your videos and audios. We do not currently processing the photos.

You select your media on your computer, in our example, we select a photo.

The sending of the file starts instantly. After sending, the file is available in the media manager, to see just refresh the media manager (My Projects > Refresh (Alt+Ctrl+r)).

2 – Create a project:

In the main navigation, you go to tab PROJECT, you will create a new project by selecting New (Ctrl + Alt + n) from the drop down My Projects

A window will open automatically, you have to give a name to your project.

You fill in the default settings of your project: title, description and the exact size of your project.

3- Create the first sequences of this project

In the main navigation, you go to the link EDITOR, you will create a new sequence in this project by selecting New (Alt+Shift +n) in the dropdown menu My Sequences

A window will open automatically, you have to name your sequence.

Use the tabs to manage the parameters of each of sequence : Timeline, Position, Effect, Event, Style.

4 – Publish your project

You can find all the sequences belonging to your project including the first sequence.

Using the Story Builder, you can quickly connect or not the sequences between them (Autochain), and then play them automatically or not autoplay. It is necessary that the sequences are present in the Story Builder before publishing if your publication will be empty.

You click Publish to make your project visible on the Web and on our platform.

By clicking the button View webdocument, you’ll be able to view your project. Buttons share on facebook and twitter are available to share your creation.
